WWE NXT 2.0 Results - October 26, 2021: Halloween Havoc

WWE held a special Halloween Havoc edition of NXT 2.0 on October 26, 2021, at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

On a show that featured Chucky and a Halloween party backstage, there was also plenty of title matches on NXT 2.0. 

Heading into Halloween Havoc, many expected Bron Breakker to be crowned as the face of WWE's developmental brand with a win over Tommaso Ciampa.

It wasn't to be for the Steiner, though, as Tommaso Ciampa pinned him following a 13-minute match. The NXT Champion and the challenger told a story of the old veteran using his experience and technical wrestling prowess against the young up-and-comer who relied on sheer power. 

Breakker did appear to be indestructible throughout the main event as he survived a Fairytale Ending from Ciampa before he fired back with a Frankensteiner. Ciampa only piled on the punishment, though, as he caught Breakker with a DDT on exposed concrete before he followed up with another Fairytale Ending. Breakker managed to kick out again and Ciampa resorted to using three Knee Strikes and a third Fairytale Ending to finally score the pinfall on the son of the Dog-Faced Gremlin. 

NXT 2.0 also opened with a title match and Toxic Attraction defeated Io Shirai & Zoey Stark and Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta in a Scareway To Hell Ladder Match to win the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship.

All six women used ladders throughout the match and they all just about survived, including Io Shirai following a dangerous spot where she was tipped from the ladder by Indi Hartwell and sent crashing onto a ladder bridge between the apron and the announce table. 

Hartwell then thought she had the match won and she was able to dispatch of Jacy Jayne. Gigi Dolan climbed up the other side, though, and got rid of Mrs Lumis before the Toxic Attraction member grabbed the belts for the win. 

Raquel Gonzalez put her NXT Women's Title on the line against Mandy Rose elsewhere on the show and God's Greatest Creation completed the sweep for Toxic Attraction, pinning Gonzalez to win the gold. 

After the Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal landed on Chucky's Choice, the doll chose a Trick Or Street Fight. The match then featured kendo sticks, a fire extinguisher, steel chairs, steel steps and a table but neither Rose of Gonzalez could find a way to win. A hooded figure then made their way to the squared circle and clocked Gonzalez from behind with a shovel. This opened the door for a Bicycle Knee from Rose for the pinfall victory to end Gonzalez's reign as NXT Women's Champion after 201 days. 

The cloaked figure then stood over the fallen Gonzalez and revealed themselves as Dakota Kai. 

MSK's reign as NXT Tag Team Champions also came to an end at the hands of Imperium. Both teams displayed good chemistry in their 13-minute Lumberjack Match and Imperium picked up the win following a European Bomb. 

Similar to last year, Dexter Lumis found himself scaring people in a haunted house, with Father-In-Law Johnny Gargano this time around. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams were repeatedly scared and even bumped into Andre Chase as they were chased by zombies throughout the pre-taped segments. The NXT North American Champion and his lackey eventually found the title belt, only to be attacked by Lumis and Gargano from behind. Following more zombie chasing, Hayes and Williams ran away like scolded dogs, as Jim Ross would say. 

The Usos' brother Solo Sikoa debuted at Halloween Havoc too in a segment where Grayson Waller tried to usurp LA Knight as the host of the show. Sikoa appeared and threw Waller over the top rope before LA Knight walked away. 

Elsewhere on NXT, Joe Gacy defeated Malik Blade in a squash that featured Harland and Odyssey Jones answered Diamond Mine's Pick Your Poison open challenge, only to be promptly defeated by Roderick Strong following interference from the Creed Brothers.
