WWE Raw Viewership At Non-Holiday Record Low

It would have been worse if not for the over 50s...

On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley and Lana got engaged, Deonna Purrazzo made her main roster debut, and Seth Rollins became the number one contender for the United States Championship.

Despite Monday's episode following the TLC pay-per-view, wrestling fans were evidently disinterested by this week's show as many did not even bother tuning in. This week's viewership was at a non-holiday record low, as the show averaged 2.054 million viewers. This breaks the previous record low from the November 11th episode of 2.058 million.

On that episode, WWE could at least blame Monday Night Football as the Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers attracted 15.978 million viewers. The same cannot be said for this week's show, as only 11.057 million tuned in to watch the New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts.

Despite the record low viewership, Raw still experienced its usual drop off as the show entered its third hour. While the episode began with 2.204 million, by 10 p.m. viewership had dipped to 1.858 million, a drop of 15 percent.
