WWE Releases New Merchandise For Released Superstar Braun Strowman

A strange decision by WWE

WWE has released some new merchandise in their shop for Braun Strowman...despite the Monster Among Men no longer working for the promotion.

Strowman was among the superstars released by WWE back in June, departing the promotion alongside the likes of Aleister Black, Buddy Murphy and Ruby Riott, just a few weeks after being involved in a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania: Backlash.

However, despite no longer being with WWE, Strowman has had some new t-shirts released on WWE shop. According to PWInsider, Strowman has had two new 'monsters are real' t-shirts put up for sale on WWE's shop.

Of course, WWE still own the rights and trademark to the Braun Strowman gimmick but releasing merchandise for a departed superstar is a move completely out of character for the promotion.

It is possible that this is simply a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing and, as of writing, there is no indication that the release of new Braun Strowman merchandise is the sign of something greater in the works.
