WWE's Simone Johnson To Undergo Knee Surgery

The fourth-generation wrestler will be out of action...

Back in February 2020, WWE announced Simone Johnson had signed with the company. Johnson is the first-ever fourth-generation wrestler in company history as she follows in the footsteps of her father Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, grandfather Rocky Johnson and great grandfather "High Chief" Peter Maivia.

She reported to the WWE Performance Center soon after to work under the tutelage of Matt Bloom and Sara Amato and she has been used in the crowd for episodes of Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and NXT during the coronavirus pandemic.

Her path to becoming a WWE Superstar has been put on hold for the time being as Johnson revealed on Twitter that she will undergo knee surgery for the third time today.

She tweeted: "so tomorrow i'm having knee surgery for the third time. as not fun as surgery is, i'm looking forward to my knees not popping out anymore. that said, please send me video games suggestions, movie suggestions (preferably scary) or anything else to help pass the time."
