WWE SmackDown Viewership Rises For 7/9 Broadcast

Their best number of the last three weeks

Overnight viewership for WWE SmackDown reached a three week high, improving upon two paltrier numbers in recent weeks.

Per Spoiler TV, the July 9 SmackDown averaged 1,881,000 viewers in overnight viewership, up 140,000 (eight percent) from last week's average of 1,741,000 viewers.

There was a notable drop through the night however, as hour one averaged 1,956,000 viewers, while the second fell to 1,805,000 viewers.

In the 18-49 demo, SmackDown drew a .45 rating, doing a .50 for hour one, and a .40 in hour two.

SmackDown faced no major sports competition Friday, as the Stanley Cup concluded on Wednesday night, while the next NBA Finals game isn't until Sunday.

SmackDown scored the highest 18-49 rating on network TV for Friday night, though still trailed in overall viewership to most programs, many of which are in reruns.
