Xia Li Debut, Two Matches Set For 12/10 WWE SmackDown

Including a long-simmering grudge match

Two matches are set for next Friday's WWE SmackDown in Los Angeles, as well as the debut of Xia Li.

Li was drafted to the SmackDown brand from NXT back in October, and vignettes have heralded her impending arrival over the past several weeks. Since August, Li has wrestled seven dark matches at SmackDown tapings, the most recent being a win over Aliyah on October 15.

Among the official matches set for week's SmackDown, Jeff Hardy will go one on one with Happy Corbin. On Friday night, Hardy and Drew McIntyre attacked Corbin and Madcap Moss during a Happy Talk segment to set up the match.

Also scheduled is a singles bout between Naomi and Sonya Deville. For a number of weeks, Deville has used her power as authority to undercut Naomi at different turns, including having a referee fast-count her in a match.

This will be Deville's first one-on-one singles match since SummerSlam 2020.

The current card for Friday's SmackDown, taking place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, includes the following:

* Jeff Hardy vs. Happy Corbin

* Naomi vs. Sonya Deville

* Plus, the debut of Xia Li
