3 Matches Made Official For NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15

We'll be getting Naito vs. Ibushi after all...

Jay White shocked the wrestling world at Power Struggle as he became the first man in New Japan Pro-Wrestling history to capture the Right To Challenge Contract from the winner of the G1 Climax. "Switchblade" made his intentions known following the main event of Power Struggle and told Tetsuya Naito he would be taking night one of Wrestle Kingdom 15 off.

This left Naito free to defend the Double Championships on January 4 and The leader of Los Ingobernables de Japon told the media he wanted to face Kota Ibushi. He even threatened to boycott Wrestle Kingdom 15 if New Japan didn't grant him his wish.

New Japan made both matches official earlier today. Naito will defend the IWGP Heavyweight Championship & IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Kota Ibushi on January 4. The winner will then face Jay White on night two.

Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay was also added to January 4. The match was set at Power Struggle after The Rainmaker defeated Great-O-Khan. The Ariel Assassin entered the ring after the bout and told Okada he wanted to end his career and what better place to do it than at the Tokyo Dome. The five-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion immediately accepted Ospreay's challenge and NJPW made the match official earlier today.
