WWE held their first co-branded show with AAA since the acquisition of the company earlier this year with Worlds Collide 2025, as both promotions took over The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. The show featured plenty of top names from AAA, the AAA Mega Championship being defended in the main event, and plenty of video packages detailing the history of AAA and the biggest names in the company.

WWE talent came out 3-2 in victory in terms of overall results from the show, as Legado Del Fantasma, Ethan Page, Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice all emerged as winners, whereas it was just El Hijo del Vikingo and the team of Mr. Iguana, Octagon Jr and Aero Star who won matches for AAA. Despite WWE’s win, this didn’t affect the reception from those in AAA.

According to PWInsider, the Roldan family of AAA were reportedly said to be “very happy” with Worlds Collide, and were pleased with how AAA were presented to the WWE audience. Octagon Jr would pull double duty, competing for the Intercontinental Title on the Money In The Bank 2025 PLE later in the night, with many of those featured at Worlds Collide shown in the audience during Money In The Bank too. WWE are also selling t-shirts of several of those AAA stars who competed at Worlds Collide.
