During yesterday’s WWE x AAA Worlds Collide show, there was one name that everyone had on their lips when the show was over - Mr. Iguana. The AAA wrestler who carried with him a stuffed iguana puppet caught the imagination of the WWE fans within an instant, and they were over the moon any time he and his toy were in the ring during the opening match of the evening.
Following the Worlds Collide show, WWE began selling a number of AAA t-shirts on their website - one of those was chosen to be Mr. Iguana. It seems as though WWE were also listening to the strong reaction to the unique performer, as he showed up at Money In The Bank too. Mr. Iguana was shown in the crowd, receiving a massive pop from those live in the arena. Interestingly, he was not sat with the other AAA cohort who were also shown at Money In The Bank, and there may be a very good reason for that.
Fightful Select have revealed that Mr. Iguana was only booked for a second appearance at Money In The Bank following the positive reaction he received at Worlds Collide. This could explain why he was sat away from the likes of Konnan and El Hijo del Vikingo, who were ringside for Dominik Mysterio’s impromptu Intercontinental Title defence against Octagon Jr.
