One of All Elite Wrestling's top stars will be involved in some capacity at their next pay-per-view, Worlds End on Saturday, December 27 from NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

WrestleVotes reported on WrestleVotes Live on Fightful Select that MJF was factored into plans for AEW Worlds End as of the week of Thanksgiving, and working plans call for MJF to be part of the December 27 show.

MJF has been gone from All Elite Wrestling since he lost to Mark Briscoe at All Out on September 20, which came only one day after Friedman lost the CMLL Light Heavyweight Championship to Mistico at CMLL's 92nd Anniversary show.

The former AEW World Champion has been gone from TV due to acting commitments, and MJF has been in Winnipeg for filming of Violent Night 2. Friedman's acting commitments have increased in recent years, and he appeared in Happy Gilmore 2 as one of the titular character's sons. MJF also had a cameo in The Iron Claw and received an executive producer credit on the A24 movie about the Von Erichs.

MJF looks set to enter the AEW World Title picture whenever he does return to All Elite Wrestling as he continues to hold the Casino Gauntlet contract that he won at All In.
