Absent Talent's Return Being Discussed Within WWE

An absent talent could soon be back on WWE TV.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there have been discussions internally about Raquel Rodriguez returning to WWE programming in the near future. When exactly Rodriguez could be back on WWE TV is unknown, however.

Rodriguez was pulled from the active WWE roster in March and she was listed as one of the talents out of action. This came after Rodriguez revealed earlier in the year that she had been diagnosed with mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS). She was off WWE TV from December 3 until February 19 due to the condition.

Rodriguez competed in the women's Elimination Chamber match at the namesake pay-per-view, working in the match with an MCAS flare-up. She then defeated Chelsea Green in a squash match on the February 26 episode of Monday Night Raw before being pulled from WWE programming.

Raquel Rodriguez has been a part of WWE since 2016. She is a one-time NXT Women's Champion, a three-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion having held the gold with Liv Morgan and Aliyah, and a two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion with Dakota Kai.
