Adam Cole Comments On WWE’s Kevin Owens Potentially Joining AEW

Could The Mount Rushmore of Wrestling run wild once more?

Kevin Owens’ WWE future has been the subject of much speculation recently, amidst rumours that hiscontract is set to expire in January 2022.

If Owens’ were to leave WWE then many see him signing with AEW, not just because it is arguably the hottest wrestling company on the planet right now, but because some of his best friends in the business work there, including Adam Cole.

During an appearance on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions, Cole was asked about Owens joining AEW, to which Cole replied:

“And I mean this because I’m friends with Kevin [Owens]; I want Kevin to do what makes him happiest so of course. It’s true though. I really mean it. I really mean it. I mean it in my soul. However, of course I would love the idea of him joining me and The Young Bucks and everybody else here. That would be incredible. However, I do want Kevin to be happy, I do. So there’s no part of me that would be angry or upset with whatever his decision is but…”

Owens - as Kevin Steen - Adam Cole, and The Young Bucks previously teamed together as Mount Rushmore in PWG, where the four regularly superkicked opponents into row z, and Owens recently teased that a return to the fold could be on the cards.
