Adam Cole Returns To AEW On Dynamite

He's back, bay-bay

Adam Cole made his return to AEW during Wednesday night's Dynamite in Los Angeles, and confirmed that he would be returning to the ring.

After prefacing that it was a good news/bad news situation, Cole revealed during his promo that he spent months dealing with numerous injuries, including to his head and shoulder. He thanked the fans for their well-wishes over the preceding months.

He then revealed the bad news, but it wasn't bad news for himself - it was for the whole locker room, as he officially announced he was coming back.

Cole closed by saying he would one day sit atop the AEW mountain.

Cole has not wrestled since suffering a concussion during a four-way IWGP World Heavyweight title match at Forbidden Door on June 26. He last appeared alongside The Young Bucks and reDRagon during an episode of Rampage in August.

Cole signed with AEW in September 2021, after over four years with WWE (primarily appearing on NXT). Cole went on to win AEW's first ever men's Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament in May.
