AEW To Run House Shows

AEW set to run house shows

All Elite Wrestling are set to run non-televised live events, Tony Khan revealed during an appearance on In The Zone.

"That's something we are talking about. We have a great live events team. It's something we've talked a lot about and building out the live event business. There is definitely a lot of demand for AEW live events, and now we have this great big strong roster that wants to do these live events, so it's something we're going to do," Khan said.

AEW have only held one house show since the company's founding. The House Always Wins emanated from Jacksonville, Florida in April 2021 and featured matches like Death Triangle and The Sydal Brothers vs. Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Konosuke Takeshita, and Michael Nakazawa, and a TNT Title match between Darby Allin and The Butcher.

The announcement that AEW will be running house shows comes after the promotion hired Jeff Jarrett as Director of Business Development in November 2022. When AEW will begin running non-televised live events is unknown.
