Adam Cole Shocked By Popularity Of AEW Tag Team With MJF

What a summer it has been for MJF and Adam Cole, with the tag team of Better Than You Bay Bay establishing itself as the most popular act in All Elite Wrestling and one of the most popular teams in professional wrestling as a whole. 

MJF and Adam Cole looked set to just have a temporary alliance before MJF would turn on Cole following the Blind Eliminator Tournament but fans just want to see more and more of the AEW World Champion and Adam Cole together. 

Even the popularity of Better Than You Bay Bay has come as a shock to Adam Cole, as he told Under The Ring: 

"No. I was really hoping that people were going to be excited about it, I know quite a few people had talked about Adam Cole vs. MJF being something they wanted to see, so I was hoping that people were going to be invested and excited about it. But, the attachment to the team itself? Not in a million years did I think it was going to be this popular. Like I said, I thought people were going to have some fun with it but it's wild. It's taken on a life of its own and it's been so much fun, so much fun."

Cole and MJF would go on to win the Blind Eliminator Tournament before they unsuccessfully challenged FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The two friends are set to go one-on-one for the AEW World Title at the historic All In pay-per-view on Sunday, August 27 inside Wembley Stadium.
