Adam Cole Vs Orange Cassidy Added To AEW Holiday Bash

The two have been at odds in recent weeks

A singles bout pitting Adam Cole against Orange Cassidy has been announced for this Wednesday's "Holiday Bash" edition of AEW Dynamite.

The two have been focal points of an overall group battle between The Superkliq and Best Friends/CHAOS. Cole defeated Wheeler Yuta on the December 10 AEW Rampage, with The Superkliq destroying CHAOS members in the post-match scene.

On last night's Rampage, Cassidy teamed with Chuck Taylor, Trent Barreta, and Rocky Romero to defeat Cole, The Young Bucks, and Bobby Fish, after Barreta pinned Fish. The match was Barreta's first since April, when he went off to have spinal surgery.

Also announced for this Wednesday's Rampage is a special "Christmas Party" hosted by Women's champion Britt Baker, as well as Tony Schiavone.

The card for this Wednesday's "Holiday Bash" edition of AEW Dynamite, taking place December 22 at The Coliseum in Greensboro, NC, is as follows:

* TBS Title tournament semifinal: Ruby Soho vs. Nyla Rose

* CM Punk, Sting, and Darby Allin vs. MJF and FTR

* Orange Cassidy vs. Adam Cole

* Malakai Black vs. Griff Garrison

* Plus, a Britt Baker/Tony Schiavone Christmas party
