Adam Page Injured On AEW Dynamite, Stretchered Out

Best wishes to "Hangman"

"Hangman" Adam Page was injured during the main event of Wednesday's AEW Dynamite in Cincinnati, and was subsequently stretchered out of the ring.

Page was challenging Jon Moxley for the AEW World title. Late in the match, Page charged out of the corner and was struck by a clothesline from Moxley, which Page cut a flip off of.

After Page hit the mat, he lay there for minutes while referee Paul Turner and Dr. Michael Sampson checked on him. Turner then stopped the match, and Moxley was announced the winner via stoppage.

A stretcher was eventually brought to ringside while the cameras stopped showing Page. Excalibur and the rest of the announcers stalled for time, running down the matches for upcoming AEW broadcasts, while the crowd could eventually be heard chanting in support of Page.

After Page was taken away, a post-match angle took place between Moxley and MJF, with Moxley improvising a lengthy promo to stall for time, while MJF eventually teased cashing in his Casino Ladder match chip, before opting not to.

Cultaholic will provide any official updates on Adam Page's status when they are available.
