CM Punk Vs. MJF Set For February 2 AEW Dynamite

Two big matches set for Chicago

A big match has been booked for the February 2 edition of AEW Dynamite in Chicago, Illinois as two feuding stars will collide.

After two months of build, CM Punk will finally go one on one with MJF. The two verbally sparred in a heated segment during Wednesday's "Beach Break" broadcast of Dynamite, with MJF noting that the show's location (Cleveland) was the city that Punk walked out of when he left WWE, eight years to the day tomorrow.

The segment ended with Punk being ambushed by Shawn Spears, Wardlow, and FTR, with the final blow being a Wardlow powerbomb onto a steel chair.

Both Punk and MJF have been undefeated in singles action for months, with The Second City Saviour yet to lose a match since joining AEW in August of 2021, while Friedman hasn't lost since the All Out pay-per-view in September. 

The card so far for the February 2 AEW Dynamite, taking place at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, is as follows:
