With Andrade el Idolo jumping ship from WWE back to AEW, a timely cryptic social media post from a current WWE star has many wondering if they plan on doing the same.
Taking to X/Twitter, Santos Escobar posted a black and white photo of himself looking pensive in a parking lot, simply captioned with an hourglass emoji.
Escobar signed with WWE in 2019, before making his main roster debut on October 7 2022. It’s being assumed that Escobar’s main roster contract could be nearing its expiry, with many online already fantasy booking Escobar in AEW.
A current champion in New Japan Pro-Wrestling has made their Ring of Honor debut, competing at the promotion’s TV tapings on October 1.
Taking place before the AEW Dynamite Sixth Anniversary show in Hollywood, Florida, Sareee made her ROH debut teaming with Alex Windsor in a win over Billie Starkz and Diamanté.

Beth ‘Phoenix’ Copeland recently made her on-screen AEW debut at All Out, attacking FTR before eating a spike piledriver at the hands of the former AEW World Tag Team Champions.
When asked if there’s a chance that Beth could compete in an AEW ring, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp noted that it’s an idea that’s been tossed around in the company for some time, with some in AEW feeling like Beth competing in an AEW ring will happen.
Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ahmed Johnson has commented after being involved in an automobile accident.
Johnson - real name Tony Norris- was rear-ended by a drunk driver on September 29 but is thankfully ok. Photos of Norris’ smashed car were shared on Facebook, with Norris commenting:
