AEW Announces Forbidden Door 2023 For Toronto

As part of a six-show Canadian tour

AEW announced Wednesday that the second annual AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door will take place at Toronto's ScotiaBank Arena on Sunday, June 25.

The event is part of a series of six events AEW will hold in Canada across June and July. Those events include:

  • Wednesday, June 28: Dynamite/Rampage tapings at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, ON
  • Wednesday, July 5: Dynamite/Rampage tapings at Rogers Place in Edmonton
  • Wednesday, July 12: Dynamite at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, SK
  • Friday, July 14: Rampage at Brandt Centre in Regina, SK
  • Saturday, July 15: a "House Rules" house show at Calgary's Saddledome, as part of the annual Calgary Stampede

Tickets for Forbidden Door go on sale Friday, March 24 at 10 am EST.

The first annual Forbidden Door took place on June 26 of last year, before a crowd of over 16,000 fans at Chicago's United Center. The card saw Jon Moxley become the interim AEW World champion after defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi, as well as PAC becoming AEW's first ever All-Atlantic (now International) champion, by winning a four way match.
