AEW Announces Three Title Matches For Worlds End

Three more bouts have been added to the AEW Worlds End PPV

AEW’s next and final PPV of 2023 comes in the form of Worlds End on December 30, and before last night there were only a handful of matches set for the show. After last night’s AEW Collision, the card is looking more complete.

Christian Cage took to the mic to address a no disqualification match challenge laid out by Adam Copeland for the PPV. Cage introduced Shayna Wayne to his ranks and made digs at Copeland’s mother, before accepting the challenge and officially setting up their TNT Championship match at the show.

Elsewhere, the tensions between Julia Hart and Abadon continued to rise, and a match for the TBS Championship was set for Worlds End between the two spooky characters. Issues have been simmering for several weeks, so it makes sense for this to be on the PPV, even if it is predictable.

Finally, another feud which has been simmering is between Hook and Wheeler Yuta, who branched off from the feud between Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley a couple of months back. Yuta and Hook will battle at Worlds End with the FTW Championship on the line, in a match which will of course be contested under FTW Rules.

The updated card for Worlds End is as follows;

  • MJF (c) vs. Samoa Joe - AEW World Championship
  • Toni Storm (c) vs. Riho - AEW Women’s World Championship
  • Big Bill & Ricky Starks (c) vs. Chris Jericho & TBA - AEW World Tag Team Championships
  • Bryan Danielson or Eddie Kingston vs. Jay White or Jon Moxley vs Swerve Strickland - Continental Classic Finals for the Triple Crown Championship
  • Christian Cage (c) vs. Adam Copeland - TNT Championship no disqualification
  • Julia Hart (c) vs. Abadon - TBS Championship
  • Hook (c) vs. Wheeler Yuta - FTW Championship
