AEW Blind Eliminator Tournament Final Confirmed

The final has been set for AEW’s Blind Eliminator Tournament

The final of the first ever All Elite Wrestling Blind Eliminator Tag Tournament has been set, with the unlikely partnership of Adam Cole and AEW World Champion MJF set to take on Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia, with the winners getting a shot at AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR at a later date.

Cole and MJF booked their spot in the final with victory over Big Bill and Brian Cage on the July 12 edition of AEW Dynamite, with Guevara and Garcia advancing earlier in the show with a tainted victory over Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy.

Unbeknownst to Guevara, The Mogul Embassy’s Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana ran interference during the match, Strickland bumrushing Darby with a rope hung drive-by House Call kick before escaping into the crowd. Guevara followed up with a GTH, although he didn’t see Strickland’s attack beforehand.

For Cole and MJF, they’ve found themselves on the same page, although their blossoming friendship was watched on by a concerned Roderick Strong, with the neck-brace sporting former ROH World Champion observing from backstage.

The final of the tournament will take place on the July 19 edition of AEW Dynamite, with the winners getting a shot at Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler on the July 29 edition of AEW Collision.
