Kurt Angle Wants WWE To Give Bobby Roode 'The Push He Deserves'

Kurt Angle would like to see Bobby Roode get more opportunities in WWE

Some of Kurt Angle's best matches in TNA came against Bobby Roode, and the Olympic gold medallist believes Roode is capable of more than he's been allowed to show in WWE rings thus far.

Speaking about his former foe on a recent edition of The Kurt Angle Show podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer expressed his hope that WWE will one day give Roode a significant main roster push, though he's unsure if it will happen:

"They haven't given him a chance yet. He was good in NXT. He was being pushed and utilised properly, not in WWE. Unfortunately for Bobby, I don't know if they're ever going to do it. That's what really sucks. Bobby's at the age now, I think he's like, what, mid-40s, yeah. I don't know if he can wrestle much longer, but I hope they do give him the push he deserves," Angle said.

The former NXT Champion has been on the injured list for over a year, having undergone neck fusion surgery. Prior to his hiatus, he was teaming with Dolph Ziggler.
