AEW Cite "Personal Reasons" For Jay White Missing AEW Collision

Jay White missed AEW Collision last night

There was a last minute change to the card for AEW Collision last night, as Tony Khan revealed on social media that “Switchblade” Jay White would no longer be competing at the event, citing “personal reasons” for his absence. All Khan had to say in his post on X was this;

“Due to personal reasons, Jay White is unable to appear tonight.”

No further details were provided on the matter. The match on Collision ended up seeing trios action instead, with Bullet Club Gold members Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, & Colten Gunn coming to the ring with “Cardblade” Jay White instead. They went on to defeat the luchador team of the debuting Dios del Inframundo, Gravity, & Aerostar. Metalik would miss out on competing in this match after being originally scheduled to compete due to this change.

Jay White competed as recently as last week when Bullet Club Gold defeated the Young Bucks and AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR in a four vs. four tag team match on Collision.
