Jim Duggan Hospitalised For Surgery
Jim Duggan's wife has made a statement regarding the Hall of Famer's health
WWE Hall of Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan has been recently hospitalised with an emergency surgery according to his wife Debra Duggan. On social media, she posted an update about the wellbeing of the first ever Royal Rumble winner and legend of the professional wrestling industry. Debra had this to say in her statement, which was posted to Jim Duggan’s X account.
"We want to thank everyone that came out yesterday as Jim was honored by the Glens Falls Firefighters Association and apologize to those that came after 3:30. Jim was taken to the hospital and admitted yesterday evening. He had emergency surgery this morning and everything went well. We will reschedule tomorrow in Utica, MI for a later time. We welcome your prayers and we will continue to provide updates. Thank you, Debra."
The reasons behind Duggan being admitted into hospital are unclear as of right now. Duggan has been active recently, doing meet and greets and starting the “Hacksaw Hour” podcast. We wish him a speedy recovery from surgery.
