AEW Collision moving to Friday for the go-home show before Full Gear did the series no favours.

Collision typically airs on a Saturday night between 8 pm and 10 pm ET in the United States on TNT but the show was switched to a Friday night on November 17 due to AEW Full Gear airing on Saturday, November 18. This resulted in Collision drawing a record-low viewership of 270,000 viewers over the two-hour run time. The episode also averaged a 0.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic which tied for the record low in the demo with the September 30 edition of Collision.

The November 17 show went head-to-head with WWE SmackDown and Collision has struggled immensely when airing on the same day as a WWE event.

AEW Rampage, which aired immediately following Collision, attracted a slightly higher audience of 280,000 total viewers and a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demo. November 17 was the show's lowest total viewership since it began airing in August 2021. The 0.09 rating was tied for the second-lowest rating in Rampage's regular time slot.

Compared to the same week in 2022, Rampage was down 37.1 percent in total viewers and down 35.7 percent in the 18-49 demo.
