The Young Bucks 'Finished Up' With Being The Elite

The Young Bucks' post-AEW Full Gear meltdown continues.

The Young Bucks are said to be done with Being The Elite, according to posts made on X by fellow AEW roster-member and onscreen associate Brandon Cutler.

The long-running video series has evolved from an initial vlog covering Matt and Nick's journey around the independent scene and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, to a widely-watched YouTube show including various character-based skits and backstage footage from AEW.

In a post seeming to lampoon typical news reports, Cutler wrote: "Sources close to Matt and Nick are telling me that they have officially finished up with Being The Elite."

The post was made in the aftermath of the Bucks' loss to Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega at last weekend's Full Gear, a defeat which saw the team lose their number one contender status to the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

The Bucks acted villainously in the match, stealing signature moves and dishing out low blows to both Jericho and close friend Omega alike. After the match they threw a ringside tantrum, destroying equipment and storming to the back.

Another similar post by Cutler around this time stated: "I am being told that the Young Bucks will be taking some time away from wrestling. People close to Matt and Nick’s camp are asking for privacy during this time."

Reports have suggested The Young Bucks will soon complete their heel turn
