AEW Collision Draws Best Ratings Since Debut Episode On July 29

Strong ratings for AEW Collision

Fans tuned in to watch Adam Cole and MJF challenge FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Wrestlenomics has reported the Saturday, July 29 edition of AEW Collision averaged 739,000 viewers on TNT in the United States. This included around 354,000 viewers in the key 18-49 demographic to draw a 0.27 rating.

This was AEW Collision's best set of ratings since the debut episode on June 17, which averaged 816,000 total viewers and a 0.33 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Compared to the show on July 22, Collision was up 20 percent in total viewership and up 49 percent in the key demo.

Collision peaked for the final 15 minutes that featured the remainder of FTR vs. Adam Cole & MJF for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Many presumed either MJF or Adam Cole would turn on their tag team partner but their popular partnership continued for at least one more week, with the top stars embracing to end Collision. The final quarter-hour averaged 837,000 total viewers and 426,000 in the key demo.

The number will likely please Warner Bros. Discovery, with reports noting the company are hoping to draw between 550,000 and 600,000 total viewers and around a 0.21 rating in the key demo from AEW Collision.
