The Street Profits Claim Them Splitting Up Has Never Been Pitched Within WWE

Montez Ford explains that a break-up has never been pitched to the Street Profits in WWE.

During the Street Profits' recent appearance on the Getting Over podcast, Montez Ford spoke about the notion of himself and Angelo Dawkins splitting up - stressing that no pitch has ever been formally made in WWE for the pair to go their separate ways. He explained:

"For us, it’s never been anything that has been pitched or anything like that, but there were a couple of instances where we felt like that were teasing it a little bit. We had some backstage segments where it was, ‘Oh, the draft could split you guys’ or MVP would come up and say, ‘You should be doing this or accepting that.’ There have been instances where people have tried to come in and add their two cents and make it go a certain way, but it never led that way."

It should be noted here that in mentioning MVP, Ford appears to be highlighting the Street Profits' current storyline. This continued on the most recent edition of SmackDown, with Bobby Lashley gifting Ford and Dawkins a new pair of suits - hinting at a possible heel turn for the duo in the near future.
