AEW Collision Premiere Ratings Revealed

How did AEW Collision do on its debut?

All Elite Wrestling debuted their new Saturday night TV show, Collision, on June 17, with the new series airing from 8 pm until 10 pm ET in the United States on TNT. The new show was headlined by the return of CM Punk who cut an opening promo before he and FTR defeated Samoa Joe, Jay White, and Juice Robinson in a trios main event. 

Wrestlenomics has reported that the debut episode of Collision averaged 816,000 viewers over its two-hour run time and drew a 0.33 rating (430,000) in the key 18-49 demographic. The show finished in third place among cable originals on Saturday, June 17.

Dave Meltzer noted while speaking to POST Wrestling and Wrestlenomics that TNT was previously averaging a 0.1-0.15 rating in the Saturday night timeslot between 8 pm and 10 pm. 

The debut episode of AEW Rampage from August 2021 averaged 740,000 viewers, while the premiere of Dynamite in October 2019 averaged 1,409,000 viewers. 

Other matches that took place on AEW Collision included Luchasaurus vs. Wardlow for the TNT Championship, Miro vs. Tony Nese, and Andrade El Idolo vs. Buddy Matthews.
