AEW Collision will air in a unique way next week due to the upcoming NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament - AKA March Madness.

TNT's schedule currently lists AEW Collision as airing in two one-hour parts on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23. Both parts will air from 11 pm ET until midnight following coverage of March Madness. AEW Collision traditionally airs on TNT as a two-hour show from 8 pm ET on Saturday nights.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Warner Bros. Discovery wanted to give AEW Collision a big lead-in, which is why the show will be split over two nights.

"The idea is rather than do a two-hour show with the second hour being from midnight until 1 am where the ratings would fall, they are going to give them one hour each night coming right after the tournament game. So in theory they should get two big ratings. The Saturday rating should be big, the Sunday rating because it's unfamiliar, maybe not, because AEW usually doesn't do well with unfamiliar time slots," Meltzer said.

The quality of AEW Collision has been praised since the start of the year. Tony Khan has since confirmed that he has been "more in the weeds" of AEW creative.

AEW will tape next week's episode of Collision following Dynamite on Wednesday, March 19 at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.
