AEW Collision SPOILERS For March 9 Episode

All the spoilers from the latest AEW Collision tapings

All Elite Wrestling once again pre-recorded their upcoming episode of Collision, with the March 9 episode taped on March 7.

We have all the results from the show, including the first match of Kazuchika Okada since officially becoming ‘All Elite’.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Collision kicked off with a fiercely contested Street Fight between The House of Black and the team of Mark Briscoe, Jeff Jarrett, and Jay Lethal. Animosity between Briscoe and The House has been building for some time, but Malakai Black came out on top, powerbombing the ‘Sussex County Chicken’ through a flaming table for the 1-2-3.

Bryan Danielson was back to winning ways after his loss to Continental Crown Champion Eddie Kingston at AEW Revolution, defeating ROH’s Shane Taylor in singles action. Post-match, Danielson was confronted by Will Ospreay, with Danielson officially challenging the ‘Aerial Assassin’ to a match at AEW Dynasty on April 21, a challenge Ospreay accepted.

The new-look Elite made their bow in trios action, with the Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada overcoming the team of Jon Cruz, Liam Gray, and Adrian Alanis. Eddie Kingston attempted to gain a measure of revenge against The Elite post-match, but was obviously outnumbered. This prompted Kingston’s good friend Penta and a returning PAC to make the save, with the six men set to face off at Big Business.

Mariah May earned herself a coveted Toni Award after defeating Trish Adora, but celebrations were cut short when Deonna Purrazzo attacked Toni Storm. May made the save for her idol, DDTing Purrazzo on the ramp.

Adam Copeland continued his mind games against The Patriarchy, with the ‘Rated R Superstar’ attacking Christian Cage at ringside after Nick Wayne defeated Adam Priest in singles competition.

FTR spoke with Tony Schiavone ahead of the upcoming AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament, with Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler wanting to become the first ever three-time AEW Tag Champs. The Infantry - Carli Bravo and ‘The Captain’ Shawn Dean - also made their presence felt, stating they hope to win the tournament themselves. The two teams shook hands.

Speaking of the tournament, it seems that Chris Jericho and HOOK could set to officially team, with HOOK saving Jericho from a Gates of Agony beatdown after ‘Lionheart’ defeated CMLL’s Titan in singles competition.
