AEW Continental Classic Finalists Revealed

The Continental Classic final will be contested at AEW Worlds End

After a couple of months and some top class matches week after week, the finals for the first ever Continental Classic have finally been set.

Jon Moxley defeated Jay White and Swerve Strickland in a triple threat match on last night’s AEW Dynamite to finish in first place in the Gold League, earning his spot in the finals at the upcoming AEW Worlds End PPV on December 30.

Later on in the night, Eddie Kingston scored arguably the biggest win of his AEW career as he defeated Bryan Danielson in the finals of the Gold League. Kingston is the current reigning ROH World Champion and NJPW Strong Champion - two of the belts which will be unified to create the Triple Crown Championship for whoever wins the AEW Continental Classic. He has earned the right to defend his championships in a one on one match.

The pair shared some words for one another on Dynamite, showing a level of respect due to their friendship, but ultimately warred with words and promised to bring their best.
