AEW Dynamite Booking Decision Defended By Anthony Bowens

Anthony Bowens defends AEW booking

Anthony Bowens has come to the defence of All Elite Wrestling's booking.

The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass defended the AEW World Trios Championships against Mogul Embassy's Brian Cage, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun on the January 24 edition of Dynamite. The match being booked received some criticism from one fan on X (FKA Twitter) as The Mogul Embassy lost their last match, dropping the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles to Jay White and The Gunns.

Bowens defended the match being booked for Dynamite, though, tweeting: "I stopped their attempt at cheating, which cost them the match and their titles. They want revenge and we are fighting champions. We'll wrestle anyone, at any time, we don't care. It's not rocket science."

The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn did assist Jay White and The Gunns in their win over Mogul Embassy on last week's Dynamite. The two sets of trios then formed the Bang Bang Scissor Gang super faction.

Interference was a part of the AEW World Trios Title match on Dynamite, this time as the former Bullet Club Gold helped The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass retain their titles by blocking interference from Prince Nana and putting him through a table.
