Details On WWE HQ Meeting With The Rock

The employees at WWE HQ in Stamford, Connecticut were smelling what The Rock was cooking earlier this week. 

Following the announcement that Dwayne Johnson had been appointed to the TKO Board of Directors and gained the rights to 'The Rock' name, Johnson headed to WWE HQ for an all-hands-on-deck employee meeting. The Rock appears to have had some fun at the meeting too as he came out to his entrance music, according to Brandon Thurston on POST Wrestling. PWInsider noted The Rock "did his entire spiel and the employees popped for it" so he may well have told the employees that he has finally come back to WWE HQ. 

WWE President Nick Khan and Triple H also spoke and it was said to be a "rah rah meeting". All the employees were praised and thanked for helping the company reach the point it has. Along with The Rock-TKO announcement, it was revealed this week that WWE Raw will air on Netflix from January 2025.

How involved The Rock will be with TKO remains to be seen. Johnson looks set to wrestle for WWE at least one more time, although a match with Roman Reigns is not yet locked in for WrestleMania 40.
