A rough night in the ratings for All Elite Wrestling.

AEW broadcast a live edition of Dynamite from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, October 25. The show struggled to retain viewers, though, and only averaged 774,000 viewers on TBS in the United States to draw Dynamite's lowest total viewership in its regular time slot since June 15, 2022.

The situation didn't improve in the key 18-49 demo as the show drew a 0.24 rating, down 22.6 percent from last week. It was also the lowest rating in the demo this year and it was tied for the lowest Dynamite rating in its usual time slot with a show from June 24, 2020.

Dynamite's struggles came from going head-to-head with the NBA. The show finished sixth on cable sports, with every show ahead of it either being an NBA game or another form of basketball programming.

Dynamite initially opened strongly, with Wrestlenomics reporting the opening quarter hour averaged 982,000 viewers and 393,000 in the 18-49 demo. Viewership plummeted to 752,000 total viewers and 286,000 in the 18-49 demo after the opening 30 minutes, though. Viewership then failed to improve, with the final quarter hour averaging 646,000 total viewers and 268,000 in the demo.

Dynamite even had a lower viewership than night one of WWE NXT Halloween Havoc, which averaged 787,000 total viewers. Dynamite remained ahead in the demo, averaging a 0.24 rating to NXT's 0.21.

Compared to the same week in 2022, Dynamite's audience was down 22 percent and down 25 percent in the 18-49 demo.
