AEW Dynamite Registers Lowest 18-49 Demo Rating Since May

A Thanksgiving Eve episode

The November 24 episode of AEW Dynamite saw the show fall to its lowest rating in the 18-49 category in over six months.

According to Branston Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite drew in an average of 898,000 viewers; a significant drop from the 984,000 the show registered on Wednesday 17 November.

In the crucial 18-49 demographic, Dynamite only scored a 0.31 rating, which is equivalent to 408,000 viewers. This is also a decrease from the show the week prior, in which AEW Dynamite registered a 0.34 rating - 480,000 viewers.

The 0.31 score in the 18-49 category is the lowest demo rating that AEW Dynamite has received in its regular Wednesday evening slot since prior to the company's return to live shows and touring, when the 19 May episode did a 0.28 rating.

Context is, of course, important, and it is worth noting that the most recent episode of Dynamite aired on Thanksgiving Eve, a traditionally difficult evening. AEW President Tony Khan noted on social media that the rating last Wednesday was the best the promotion have done on Thanksgiving Eve, showing an overall audience rise of 188,000 viewers from 2020.
