AEW: Dynamite Results - February 17, 2021: Young Bucks vs. Santana & Ortiz

Some wild matches were announced for Revolution too

Last week's AEW: Dynamite featured the chaotic six-man tag main event, the kick-off of the AEW Women's World Championship Eliminator Tournament, and Sammy Guevara finally quitting the Inner Circle.

The February 17 episode kicked off with Hangman Page and Matt Hardy beating TH2, before Page revealed that the contract he signed last week was not to join Big Money Matt's crew, but was in fact a contract for a match at Revolution; winner gets 100% of the quarter-one 2021 earnings of the loser. Isaiah Kassidy and TH2 then beat down Page, as -1 and The Dark Order made the save.

Riho made her first appearance in 11 months as she defeated Serena Deeb in an excellent tournament bout. Riho will take on Thunder Rosa in the Semi-Finals. Elsewhere Orange Cassidy made short work of Luther - no sign of Miro or Kip Sabian this week.

Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley cut promos on each other to their usual standards, while Mox hyped up NJPW Strong, and said when he's done with KENTA he's coming back for his AEW World Championship. Elsewhere, Taz cut a promo on Sting before Brian Cage and Hook attacked The Icon.

Chris Jericho also had some mic time, saying that although MJF was at fault for Sammy leaving, the onus was on Guevara, and that Sammy is now dead to Le Champion.

Inner Circle were in action too as Santana & Ortiz were defeated by The Young Bucks in an AEW Tag Title match. The Bucks were then beat up by Inner Circle as The Good Brothers made a very slow save.

Cody and Brandi Rhodes revealed they're having a girl, then Cody announced a Six-Man 'Face of the Revolution' Ladder Match for the PPV. So far confirmed; Cody, Scorpio Sky, Penta El Zero M. Cody stuck around on commentary as FTR defeated Matt & Mike Sydal. Post-match Jurassic Express attacked FTR as they attempted to cut Mike's hair.

The main event saw Jon Moxley, Rey Fenix, and Lance Archer defeat Eddie Kingston, The Butcher & The Blade in a fun Six-Man Tag.

Post-match The Good Brothers and Kenny Omega beat down Jon Moxley, and Omega agreed to give Mox a rematch at Revolution: an Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch.
