AEW Excited About First UK Show

AEW are rumoured to be holding their UK debut shows in 2023

Since setting up shop in 2019, UK fans have been eager for All Elite Wrestling to bring their product to the British Isles.

AEW President Tony Khan is also Director of Football Operations at Fulham FC in London,  and it has been heavily rumoured that AEW will be promoting shows in London in 2023, with many assuming that AEW could run Fulham’s Craven Cottage stadium.

When asked about the long awaited UK shows on his My World podcast, AEW Director of Business Development Jeff Jarrett said the following:

"When you're expanding your brand in professional wrestling, look at the late '80s, early '90s. What did the WWF do? They went to the U.K.," Jarrett said.

Jarrett continued, noting how everyone in the company is eager to go overseas:

"We're all internally excited. I know the fan base - I bet in the last three months I've gotten two or three emails a week from different promoters and folks of contacts because there's a ton of buzz, a ton of excitement. I'm super excited. Yeah, it has been a while. The demand in that market is - when you really look at it, London has what, 20 million people? But, overall, the country is small compared to the U.S. or even other countries. So, it's a rabid fan base," said Jarrett.
