We are just days away from All Elite Wrestling’s first pay-per-view event of 2024 with Revolution set for March 3, but reports are suggesting that the company could follow up with another PPV event in April.

Per Fightful Select, AEW’s broadcast partner Warner Bros. Discovery have suggested that the recently filed trademark for ‘AEW Dynasty’ is connected to a PPV or ‘special event’ for the Spring, with sources within AEW believing the show will air in April.

If the show is indeed a PPV then it will be the first ever AEW PPV event to take place in April. As of yet, the company have announced no shows after the April 3 TV taping in Worcester, MA, until the start of their Canadian tour on May 1. No dates or locations have been suggested for this potential April show, although Andrew Zarian has been suggesting that something could be in the works for April 21.

AEW expanded their PPV output at the end of 2023, running events in August, September, October, November, and December. Previously, the promotion ran quarterly PPV events, upping the output to five shows per year with the inclusion of Forbidden Door in 2022. Part of AEW’s ongoing negotiations with Warner Bros. Discovery suggested that WBD were pushing for an increased PPV output, with a monthly PPV model proposed.
