AEW Fans Demand Cody Vs. WARHORSE Following Open Challenge Tweet
You've got to give the people what they want...
Over the past month, the IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion WARHORSE has been campaigning for a TNT Title match against Cody. He has replied to almost every tweet from Cody and AEW On TNT with a video demanding a match and has reacted to all of The American Nightmare's title defences with everything from hitting a punching bag with a steel chair to parodying Cody's ear GIF.
Fans have got on board with the campaign and the TNT Champion's replies are always littered with people demanding he face the Independent Wrestling Champion, and #CodyFearsWarhorse has become a common trend on Twitter.
AEW fans again showed their desire for Cody vs. WARHORSE last night after Rhodes tweeted: "Who do you want to see answer the open challenge?" While some fans put forward stars like Eddie Kingston and Brian Pillman Jr., most people demanded Cody finally go one on one with The Man Who Rules Ass.
Whether or not Cody listens to the fans and accepts WARHORSE's challenge remains to be seen but The American Nightmare will next defend the title at Fight For The Fallen on July 15.
