AEW Fyter Fest 2020 Night 1 Results

All Elite Wrestling's next major event took place earlier as night one of Fyter Fest 2020 was broadcast live from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida on FITE and TNT. 

The special edition of Dynamite opened with Jurassic Express vs. MJF & Wardlow and The Salt Of The Earth endured a torrid night as not only was his outfit ghastly, he punched Mr. Mayhem in the face with the Dynamite Diamond Ring which gave Luchasaurus the opening he needed to pick up the win. Penelope Ford also impressed many during her match against Hikaru Shida, but the champion proved to be too strong on this night. 

Later in the show, Cody and The Nightmare Family displayed more heel tendencies as Arn Anderson did everything in his power to distract Jake Hager, while Dustin Rhodes interfered in the late stages of the match. These antics ultimately gave Cody the advantage he needed to ensure he left Daily's Place with the TNT Title. Santana and Ortiz and Private Party followed the bout and Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen picked up the win after hitting Santana with Gin and Juice.

In the main event, "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega continued their winning ways and Page proved he could do it on his own as he demolished Trent? with a Buckshot Lariat for the victory while The Cleaner lay prone on the outside. 

AEW also announced Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage for the AEW World Championship has been moved to Fight For The Fallen 2020 on July 15. The match was replaced on next week's show by "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega vs. Private Party for the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
