Jeff Jarrett has seen it all and done it all during his illustrious career, but as ‘Double J’ winds down his in-ring career it appears he will do so without winning the AEW World Championship.

Jarrett called out AEW World Champion Jon Moxley on Wednesday night's Dynamite, with Jarrett recently revealing he signed his last ever in-ring wrestling contract. Despite a potential George Foreman-esque story on the cards for AEW, a report from Fightful Select suggests there are currently no plans to put the world title on Jarrett.

The report also states that Jarrett was instrumental in pitching his progamme with MJF which has saw the two talents engage in wars of words across AEW TV in recent weeks. The plan as of Wednesday was for the feud to conclude at Revolution on March 9, but was believed to have been originally planned to run for longer.

Whilst it may not look like Jarrett will get his hands on the AEW World Championship, ‘The Last Outlaw’ is still a 10-time world champion, having held the WCW World Heavyweight Championship four times, and the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship six times during his run in TNA.

Jarrett is also a one-time Texas Chainsaw Massacre Deathmatch Champion in AEW.
