AEW Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Brackets Revealed
AEW have revealed the brackets for the second Owen Hart Foundation Tournament
All Elite Wrestling have revealed the brackets for the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments, with the tournaments returning after a successful debut outing in 2022.
The tournaments are set to begin on the June 23 edition of AEW Rampage - taped on June 21 - and will run through Forbidden Door until the July 15 edition of Collision, with the finals set for the Saddledome in Hart’s hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The men’s tournament will kick off at Forbidden Door on June 25, with former AEW World Champion CM Punk set to face legendary former IWGP, GHC, and Triple Crown Champion Satoshi Kojima. On the June 29 edition of Collision, the other three quarter-final matches will take place, pitting Roderick Strong against ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe for a chance to face Punk or Kojima, whilst the winner of Ricky Starks vs. Juice Robinson will face the winner of Dustin Rhodes vs. Powerhouse Hobbs.
The women’s tournament is set to begin on Rampage on June 23, with Skye Blue set to face Anna Jay. with the winner set to face the winner of Britt Baker vs Ruby Soho on the June 28 edition of Dynamite. Nyla Rose will take on NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale on the June 24 edition of Collision, with the winner facing the victor of ROH Women’s World Champion Athena vs. Billie Starkz on the Forbidden Door Zero Hour pre-show.
