AEW seem likely to bring us the latest chapter of Swerve Strickland vs. 'Hangman' Adam Page soon, according to Ibou of WrestlePurists.

He reveals: "Swerve Strickland vs. 'Hangman' Adam Page is currently planned for AEW All Out in Chicago."

This could be particularly interesting given All Out's proximity to All In, with the Wembley Stadium pay-per-view set for August 25, and All Out taking place just under two weeks later on September 7. At the Wembley show, Strickland will be defending his AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson in a title vs. career match.

This might imply that Hangman will involve himself in the bout somehow, costing Strickland to set up a rematch between the two. While their feud is certainly personal enough to warrant such an interference, a run-in during a match with Danielson's career on the line feels like a particularly risky booking decision on AEW's part.

On the other hand, there could be a legitimate route to a title shot for Page, who isn't yet officially on the All In card. The winner of the Casino Gauntlet match will secure a future shot at the AEW World Championship. If Swerve were to beat Bryan, this would explain the planned bout for All Out. However, with two weeks of television between the two shows, AEW could go any number of routes to reach their intended destination.
