AEW Rampage Draws New Record-Low Viewership

A new record-low viewership for AEW Rampage

AEW Rampage has a new record low viewership following the August 2, 2024 episode of the show on TNT.

Wrestlenomics and Programming Insider noted that AEW Rampage averaged 209,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.07 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. The rating tied for the lowest 18-49 rating in show history, which includes preemptions, while the record-low rating in total viewers for Rampage also includes preemptions.

Rampage's record-low viewership occurred due to the show airing head-to-head with coverage of the Olympics, with the games averaging 13.1 million viewers and a 2.29 rating in 18-49 on NBC. Other shows that finished ahead of Rampage in primetime included three shows on Fox News, On Patrol on Reelz and Love After Lockup on WETV.

Compared to the same week in 2023, Rampage's viewership was down 51.8 per cent while the 18-49 rating was down 50 per cent.

The August 2 episode of Rampage featured MxM Collection defeating Private Party, a couple of squash wins for Brian Cage and Bryan Keith, Wheeler Yuta picking up a win over The Butcher, and Nyla Rose's victory against Harley Cameron.
