AEW Rampage Taping Spoilers For January 19 Edition

AEW were in North Charleston, South Carolina last night at the North Charleston Coliseum for both a live AEW Dynamite and a taped AEW Rampage, which will air on Friday January 19. Spoilers for AEW Rampage come courtesy of ITNWWE.
Chris Jericho looked to bounce back from a recent loss alongside Sammy Guevara as the pair challenged for the AEW World Tag Team Championships unsuccessfully at Battle of the Belts IX last week, by taking on Matt Sydal in a singles match. This is a rematch from the Fatal 4 Way WWE PPV all the way back in 2010, where Sydal (under the name Evan Bourne) picked up a huge upset win over the veteran.
Elsewhere on Rampage, another big rematch took place as Darby Allin fought Jeff Hardy in singles action. The pair first battled during the 2022 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament in a wild match which saw Hardy pick up the victory and advance to the next round. Allin will be looking to overcome his hero and redeem himself.
