AEW Re-Signs Jake Roberts

The legend has re-signed with Tony Khan's promotion.

Jake Roberts has revealed that he has re-signed with All Elite Wrestling.

The WWE Hall of Famer announced the news on a (yet to be released) edition of his The Snake Pit podcast.

"Well folks, just to let you know, you're gonna be looking at me on AEW for another year. That's right, they re-signed me so that’s great news. Looking forward to doing it," the 68-year-old reportedly said.

Roberts has acted as the on-screen manager of Lance Archer since 2020. In November 2023, he also aligned himself with The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch).

Asked by podcast co-host Dominic DeAngelo whether he wants to bring his 'Snake Pit' stable back to AEW television, Roberts said: "Crossing my fingers that - wouldn't be something if we started the 'Snake Pit' back up? Listen, I'd love to talk to Tony about that. I'm damn sure gonna pitch it".

Elsewhere during the podcast, the master of the DDT noted that he plans on doing a themed cruise similar to Chris Jericho's annual Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea, saying:

"Everybody's been on a Jericho Cruise, but have you been on the Jake 'The Snake' Roberts cruise? That's on the way so folks get ready, we're gonna take it out on the middle of the ocean and do what I do".

Along with his work as a manager, Roberts is also a special advisor to AEW Together, a community outreach team that includes Mark Henry, Paul Wight and Shawn Dean.

Last year, Jake stated that he was "begging" to help out with AEW creative.
