Kenny Omega Calls Kurt Angle The Most Complete Wrestler Of All Time
Oh, it's true.
Kenny Omega has heaped praise on Kurt Angle, referring to the WWE Hall of Famer as 'the most complete wrestler of all-time'.
Making the comments during a recent stream on his Twitch channel, Omega said:
"I do think Kurt Angle is the greatest...I can't even say in-ring. For me, he's the most complete wrestler of all time. He's my favourite. He's my go-to guy to study. Being an athletic guy who wants to be able to mesh well and compliment every wrestling style, but also, anyone who is familiar, I'm not afraid to embarrass myself or do silly things. That's what I loved a lot about what Kurt did on TV".
Angle himself responded to a video of Kenny making the comments, writing on X: "Much respect Kenny. Hope to meet you one day!! #itstrue".
As well as speaking about the Olympic gold medallist's overall abilities, Omega specifically reviewed and rated Angle's match with Rey Mysterio from SummerSlam 2002.
Kenny gave the match 4.75 stars and heralded it as one of the greatest opening matches in wrestling history.
