All Elite Wrestling have tied down one of their current champions to a new contract.
Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has reported that Thekla has re-signed with AEW on a new multi-year deal. AEW moved to sign Thekla to a new contract less than a year after she put pen to paper on her initial deal because the promotion were "so happy" with her performances.
Thekla signed with All Elite Wrestling in May 2025 and she made her debut on the May 28, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite, laying out Jamie Hayter. Thekla formed Triangle of Madness with Julia Hart and Skye Blue soon after.
The 32-year-old Austrian has feuded with Kris Statlander over the AEW Women's World Championship in recent months and Thekla won the belt in a Strap Match on the February 11 episode of AEW Dynamite. Thekla then successfully defended the championship in a Two-out-of-Three Falls Match at the Revolution pay-per-view.
Fightful noted that Thekla only signed a two-year deal with AEW when she joined the promotion just weeks after her exit from STARDOM. WWE were interested in Thekla prior to her signing with All Elite Wrestling.
